What is BT has H.E.A.R.T?

BT has H.E.A.R.T (Happy. Energetic. Agile. Reliable. Team.) is an internal umbrella for pulling together the volunteering and all communities of BT ROC. The registered, participating colleagues can collect points which they can exchange for gifts/vouchers.

 

Why did we establish this programme?

Our aim is to build even stronger communites in BT in Hungary. With this community building programme, BT ROC intends to motivate and engage you to participate in the life of internal communities, to extend volunteer trainer community for boosting BT’s academic relations in Hungary and to recognize your volunteer efforts.

 

How can I participate in the programme?

You have to register yourself on the www.btheart.com website. On this site, you can also register your volunteering occasions and you will collect points which you can exchange for gifts or vouchers.

 

Who are eligible to participate in the programme?

This programme is available to all employees of BT Global Europe B.V. Hungarian Branch Office and BT ROC Kft. who comply with the requirements of BT has HEART membership categories.

 

Membership categories

We defined the following membership categories:

  • External trainer

  • Internal trainer

  • Internal event volunteer

  • CSR coordinator

  • Internal coach

 

What kind of activities can be registered on the btheart.com site? - please read carefully before registering your occasions!

If you are an external trainer:

  • you can register the delivered external training occasions

  • multi-day training can be registered on a daily basis

  • preparations are not eligible

If you are an internal trainer:

  • you can register the delivered internal training days (in case of a multiple day training, please register each training day separately)

  • in case if you deliver trainings on a regural basis, every occasion can be registered

  • preparations are not eligible

  • only trainings which are available for all BT ROC employees can be registered in H.E.A.R.T

  • only trainings registered by the local L&D Team will be approved

  • those trainings which are only available in particular business units are not eligible

If you are an internal coach:

  • you can register your individual and group coaching sessions 

  • only members of BT's Internal Coaching Community can register

  • only coaching sessions registered in 'ICF Coaching Log' sheet will be approved

If you are a CSR coordinator:

  • you can register your fully-coordinated CSR event, organized and supported centrally by BT ROC

  • you can register if you were venue coordinator of the BT Volunteering Day or managed a BT ROC centrally-organized volunteering activity

If you are an internal event volunteer:

  • you can register in the system in case you provided support in preparing and organizing BT ROC events (e.g Santa Claus, Wellbeing Week etc.)

  • attending a volunteering event cannot be rewarded with H.E.A.R.T points. This is an opportunity for you, offered by the company, when you can spend your working hours with giving something back to the society and cannot be further rewarded. Only those who prepare and coordinate our CSR events can apply for H.E.A.R.T points in the category of CSR coordinators

 

Okay, I collected points, what can I get for it?

We put together a list of vouchers and through these vouchers, hundreds of experiences are waiting for you, or simply you can buy some useful stuff. Sounds good?
The value of the vouchers depends on how many occasions you spend with volunteering. You can find here the detailed reward system: Detailed rewards system

 

Available vouchers:
- IKEA gift card
- Decathlon voucher 
- Emag voucher 
- AJI Card (accepted by approx. 400 partners, including Libri and Lira book stores).

 

Please note that the list of available vouchers is subject to change! As we work with pre-ordered vouchers, it might happen that we run out of certain values or types of vouchers. We try our best to provide the requested vouchers, but it might happen that you’ll be offered another type or different values.

 

From when can I collect points?

As the HEART Program has been on hold for some time now, we will allow registering events/points retrospectively as well, from 1 January 2022.

 

Timeframe for collecting the points

The maximum length of the period when you can collect your points is one year. After a year your points will be lost in case you don't exchange them.

 

Exchanging my points

 

When can I exchange my points?

Registered HEART members can exchange their points to vouchers from November 2022.

 

How can I exchange my points?

You must log in to the site, where you will see the amount available for you, which is based on your occasions registered previously. Then you should select the gifts/vouchers you would like to receive. You will receive your vouchers/gift approx. 1 month after the exchanging period.

 

What is the process in short?

1.    Register to btheart.com website
2.    Organize volunteering programmes, deliver trainings, provide coaching occasions
3.    Register the volunteering occasions in the system
4.    Get approval in the system (Corporate Affairs team, L&D team)
5.    Opportunity to exchange the collected points to vouchers

 

Can I donate my vouchers?

It is your decision how you will use your rewards, however, BT cannot help with the donation. 

 

Should I pay tax after getting the vouchers?

No. BT will cover all the taxes related to this recognitions.

 

Until when are my vouchers valid for?

It depends on which voucher you select. Please always check the voucher's validity date.
